What can you do with a diving certification?
The Open Water Diver (OW) certification is the most basic introductory certification for scuba diving, allowing you to participate in fun dives up to 18 meters deep with dive buddies worldwide. It includes equipment and tank rental, opening the door to exploring the underwater world. In the long run, it's more cost-effective than introductory dives, and you can pursue Advanced Open Water (AOW) or specialized courses later.
Uses of an OW Certification
- Local Fun Dives: Certified holders can participate in dives at dive shops worldwide, exploring dive sites up to 18 meters deep.
- Equipment and Tank Rental: Rent scuba equipment and tanks at dive shops and participate in dive trips.
- Learning Basic Diving Skills: Learn basic diving skills such as using diving equipment, mask clearing, and neutral buoyancy control in the course.

Jump Jump Dive is a professional dive shop located in Hsinchu, Taiwan, primarily operating in the northeastern waters of Taiwan. We offer professional scuba diving courses and a wide range of dive itineraries, allowing you to explore the mysterious world of the ocean. We are intimately familiar with every unique dive site in the area, catering to both beginner-friendly calm waters and challenging terrain. Guided Dives/Fun Dive
For certified divers, the program offers guided tours to specific attractions in the Northeast Coast, including Chaojing Park, Bat Cave, Dragon Cave, Sky Blue, the Bunker, and Fulian Elementary School.
Discover Scuba Diving
Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) is an introductory scuba activity designed for uncertified beginners. Anyone aged 10 or older who cannot swim can participate. Under the strict one-on-one guidance of a professional instructor, participants wear equipment and carry air tanks to descend to a depth of approximately 10-12 meters, easily experiencing the joy of underwater breathing and close-up observation of marine life.

Open Water Diver Certification
Depending on student needs, a 2-day or 3-day course plan is available.
Day 1: Pool training (1 air tank), sea training (2 air tanks).
Day 2: Sea training (2 air tanks).
Total training uses 5 air tanks.
Advanced Open Water Diver Certification
The courses are mostly 2 days long.
Day 1: Sea training, 3 air cylinders.
Day 2: Sea training, 2 air cylinders.
Total training uses 5 air cylinders.
Emergency First Response Diver Certification
This is a full-day course covering CPR, AED operation, the Heimlich maneuver, wound dressing, emergency fracture immobilization, and other emergency first aid techniques (tourniture application).
Enriched Air Diver certification
Certification is only issued after passing the indoor course. Usually, people register for the high-altitude oxygen specialty exam at the same time as taking the AOW certification exam, so they can learn at the same time, which saves time and effort.
Rescue Diver Certification
Depending on student needs, courses can be planned for 2 or 3 days, covering a total of 10 rescue scenarios.
Day 1: Pool training (1 air cylinder), Sea training (3 air cylinders).
Day 2: Sea training (3 air cylinders).
Total training uses 7 air cylinders.
Divemaster Certification
This is a course lasting a full week or even a full month, including pool training and exams, water skills and physical fitness: 400-meter swim, 15 minutes of floating or treading water (with wrists raised above the water for the last 2 minutes), 800-meter snorkel swim, 100-meter diver tow, demonstration of 24 open water skills, extra points for mask removal, search and retrieval course, completion of one night dive escort activity, completion of one assisted snorkeling supervisor activity, completion of one assisted Reactivate course, completion of one solo introductory dive, completion of one assisted Open Water (OW) beginner course, completion of one assisted Advanced Open Water (AOW) course, and completion of one solo tourist dive (including dive site arrangement and management, dive site charting, dive briefing, and emergency rescue planning).
Only upon completion and passing of the above courses will a Divemaster certification be issued.
